Mosaic and the Italian Sonnet: Ilsley Library Talk

The sonnet originated in Sicily, and several hundred years passed before it moved into English and the form we've come to know as the "Shakespearian sonnet". I am passionate about the Sicilian and Petrarchan sonnets, which inspire my writing in Mosaic: Poems from Travels in Italy. Hear me wax on about the beauty of sonnets in this talk and reading at the Ilsley library in Middlebury October 1, 2024!
