Cindy Ellen Hill, author of gothic horror novel in verse Leeds Point, shares the elements that make gothic horror so gripping, and walks through the eerie genre from Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein through classic New England gothic of Hawthorne, Alcott, Poe and Melville to contemporary works like Kristen Bakis’s King Nyx.
